I am writing to tell you how much I appreciate what you, a person whom I did not even purchase my Focal JM Lab Speakers from, did for me. Simply... you went above and beyond to see that my subwoofer was repaired... and then re-paired when it wasn’t done correctly by the factory’s subcontracted repair center. This was no easy task... being that the repair facility was three time zones away in Toronto, Canada.
If you will work this hard for me, again... someone who was not even one of your customers, but someone who had purchased a product from a company you just happen to be an authorized dealer for... then I can’t imagine how high your service level is for your own customers. If you want to actually be able to use your electronics at home call Otto and his team. They are fantastic! Finally 1 remote does everything and is easy to use. We have all had sophisticated systems that are just impossible to use, LJ Home Theater will make using your home electronics enjoyable. Binacorp is a small home automation company in the Coronado Cays (and soon to be in La Jolla). We hired Otto to get music throughout our 4-story house...I had originally imagined a costly project with lots of equipment, wires, and drywall repairs (but I was still willing...for music!). We ended up spending a couple grand less than I expected and, not only did I get music, but an entire Mac-based system, including Apple TV (we can view slideshows of our pics or YouTube from our plasma TV and rent movies on demand!) and my new MacBook Pro. As you know, this job involved several complexities. When I purchased the home from the developer, the original A/V company, a Utah-based firm, had already walked off the job without providing any source codes for the incomplete Vantage programming and refused to provide any service.
Binacorp responded by completing the installation and programming, overcoming all obstacles with the prior A/V firm, and helping me choose the right equipment and features for this home.
The result for me has been a good system, backed by great service, at a reasonable price. I will recommend Binacorp to anyone looking to purchase or obtain support for an A/V or home automation system.

Binacorp came into our lives after our original contractor went suddenly out of business, leaving us with an unfinished job, equipment that had been paid for but not installed, a big mess! We checked all of the options between San Diego and Los Angeles. Who would take over a job halfway through? We met with Otto at the then-location in the Cays, and liked his personality, his "can-do" attitude, and the fact that the office was right in our neighborhood. Otto took plenty of time to explain what he thought we needed to do, demonstrated how to use the equipment that he had installed in the showroom, let us push buttons and play. We were convinced that Binacorp was the right choice.
The job did not proceed smoothly at first, and we received the bad news that our system would not operate properly, would not give us what we had been told it would do, because the installation was inadequate. Otto patiently explained the options, and we decided to expand some of the features and add a few things. Since the house had originally been wired in the construction phase, that meant some backtracking and reworking of that part of the project. No problem for Otto!
Once the installations were finished, then the programming started, the hardest part. Gary spent so much time with us that we threatened to adopt him! Time was taken to address every feature that we might be interested in. In our case, that included all features from climate control, lighting, motorized drapes, security, and of course the full audio and video features. We never heard "no" or "it can't be done".
At this point, our home is finally our dream home, with all of the features and more, than we ever imagined. Binacorp was the right choice for us, and Otto, Gary, Robert are the kind of guys that are welcome into our home at any time. Binacorp also introduced us to the world of Mac, and now we have a mac book as well as a mac air.
We would not hesitate to recommend Otto and all of the guys at Binacorp for any undertaking, and thank all of you for seeing us through a situation that threatened to be a nightmare. Keep up the good work!
