Around the Corner: CEDIA 2011

The Custom Electronic Design and Installation Association (CEDIA) will host its annual expo next week in Indianapolis.  CEDIA features hundreds of new products demonstrated by key manufactures in home electronics. In the weeks prior to the show, the editors of Electronics House have been busy with announcements from exhibitors from every sector of the home electronics industry: audio/video, home control, security, lighting control, equipment racks and mounts, and more. La Jolla Motor Car Classic

“Historic La Jolla, California has long been the destination for the finer things in life. Breathtaking coastlines, exceptional cuisine, elegant homes, exquisite shopping and of course fine automobiles have been staples in this luxurious locale since the 1880s. La Jolla Historical Society will pay tribute to some of the world’s finest automobiles on Sunday, April 3, 2011 from 9:00am to 3:00 pm at the 7th Annual La Jolla Motor Car Classic, at the beautiful La Jolla Cove.”

“Over the past six years, the La Jolla Motor Car Classic has paid tribute to Horseless Carriages, Italian marques, British marques, Woodies, 50’s Classics and Shelby Automobiles. The featured marque for the 2011 show is German automobiles. In addition to these European classics, this event will highlight over 30 juried classes of automobiles. Vintage auto aficionados and collectors are encouraged to compete against the best of the best for many other marques as well, including: British, Italian, German, Horseless Carriages, CCCA Classics, Woodies, Special Interest Cars, Vintage Motorcycles, and many others.”

We will have a booth setup at this event. A mini home automation system will be on site to show attenders the Savant system through the iPhone, iTouch, and iPad. Attenders will be able to try the Savant system through our different displays. There will be also be live cameras throughout the venue to see the feed through the different TV’s. In addition, the Mirage Vision Television (which we blogged about earlier) will be showcased at the event as well!

Tickets in advance are $35, and tickets purchased at the event are $40. Children 13 and younger are free and VIP Tickets are $100 and include one entry plus access to the exclusive VIP Area with complimentary food & beverages – plus one commemorative program.
